Running diversity and inclusivity

A fantastic articled appeared in the New York Times last month, focussed on the ProlyFyck Run Crew in Charlottesville, Virginia. It is a wonderful piece that demonstrates the power of running and community in helping to promote diversity, inclusivity and heal social divisions. As the running crew movement itself speaks to, running can be so much more than just individualistic pursuits of PBs or health/fitness. Running has important social roles to play that are increasingly being discovered and are well-exemplified in this article. A highly recommended read.
