Very flatteringly, Runner’s World UK asked if I would be up for being profiled as part of their ‘The Secret Life of …’ series. I was, and it has been published in this month’s edition of Runner’s World UK (February 2021). In ‘The Secret Life of the Running Geography’ I briefly discuss my academic interest in running, some of the work I’ve done, and wider thoughts on running, space and place.
It was a really fun thing to be involved with, but I am not sure I am the most natural in photoshoots!
If the piece finds its way online I will post the link to this site, but otherwise here is an image of the piece courtesy of Michael Crawley. Thanks for sending this my way.
