New Book Review: The Walkable City

My book review of Jennie Middleton’s The Walkable City: Dimensions of Walking and Overlapping Walks of Life has just been published in cultural geographies.

I have enjoyed and been inspired by Jennie’s work for years and her approach to walking research has certainly influenced the approaches I adopt in my running research. So it was a privilege to be invited to review her new book for cultural geographies.

In sum, it’s excellent. You can read an open access version here: http://www.open-access.bcu.ac.uk/id/eprint/13374
